My Recommended Trader Joe’s Items!

Trader Joe’s is one of my favorite stores I don’t get to visit enough. Because I live across town, I only shop at TJ’s once every couple of months, but that hasn’t stopped me from finding many favorite products!

What attracts me most to TJ’s is their colorful packaging, friendly staff, and overall reasonable pricing (yes, some products are still a bit pricier than just shopping at my normal grocery store, just pay attention!).

If you plan on visiting a local Trader Joe’s, here are my top recommendations in no particular order!

  • Chocolate Hummus, $1.99
  • Bagged Organic Tuscan Kale, $2.49
  • Organic Pitted Medjool Dates, $4.99
  • Organic Single Origin Coconut Water, $1.99
  • Mood Odysey Roll-On Essential Oils, $9.99
  • Gone Bananas, $1.99
  • Fresh Eucalyptus, $2.99

Chocolate Hummus

At only $1.99 for 8 oz (22g.), plus only 50 calories for 2 tablespoons, this protein-packed treat is the perfect pairing for Granny Smith apples, pretzels, or even strawberries.

Organic Tuscan Kale

I typically like to purchase my produce whole, but the convenience of having kale already chopped up and pre-washed is sometimes too good to pass up! $2.49 for a 10 oz. bag.

Organic Pitted Medjool Dates

If you have a sweet tooth like me, dates are amazing to have on hand. I love eating them on their own or with some dark chocolate! The thing that sets these TJ dates apart is the fact that not only are they only $4.99, they are also already pitted! I couldn’t resist picking up a container.

Coconut Water

I am obsessed with the pink coconut water from a brand that rhymes with shmarmless shmarvest…but their bottles are so expensive! I normally only purchase from Costco when they go on sale. To curb my cravings, I enjoy the TJ coconut water. It is the exact same thing as the other brand at a fraction of the price ($1.99 for a 10 oz. bottle).

Roll-On Essential Oils

Now, I know this product is new for February and I am unsure if it will be a limited release, but I HIGHLY recommend picking it up if you have access! This set comes with four different roller ball essential oils for relaxing, sleeping, happiness, and energy, all for only $9.99. I love using essential oils for relaxation purposes (check out my favorites here)

Gone Bananas

I always try and pick up a few packs of Gone Bananas (unfortunately, I had more errands to run today and wasn’t able to today). These frozen chocolate covered bananas are perfect for curbing sweet cravings and the best part is they only cost $1.99! A serving is four pieces at 100 calories.

Eucalyptus is said to have relaxation properties, and Trader Joe’s sells one large bunch for $2.99! I love hanging the eucalyptus in my shower so the oils release in the steam.

What I Eat in a Day
